Release of Liability for Engraving Customer Provided Items
LEO Armory, LLC is thrilled you have chosen us to personalize your products. Due to the sensitive nature of engraving, you must agree to the following guidelines prior to us engraving your product(s):
LEO Armory, LLC is not responsible for customer-provided items that may get damaged during handling or the engraving process. The customer accepts all risks associated with the engraving process including but not limited to: equipment malfunction/failure, power outage, operator error, etc. Even though the utmost care is taken with each piece, the customer understands that errors can occur.
In the event of an error on our part we will be limited to engraving a customer-provided replacement at no additional charge, unless we deem that the replacement item is not suitable for engraving.
Engraving is a permanent process and changes to the engraving may be impossible without rework, alteration or possibly damage to the item.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the digital proofs and/or mock-ups provided are correct and acceptable, including spelling, typographic errors and engraving placement. Once a proof is customer approved and the item engraved, any errors or changes to the engraving will be engraved again at customer’s expense.
Since the manufacture of customer-provided items, consistency of finishes, wood grain patterns, wood colors, and finish types are out of our control, we are not responsible for variances in engraving results.
All items left more than 14 days after completion of engraving will become the property of LEO Armory, LLC will be disposed of in accordance with acceptable industry standards, rules and regulations.
LEO Armory, LLC will not be responsible for residue, stains or other engraving by-products on customer provided items. Painted surfaces may be laser engraved as well. We do ask customers to provide us a sample piece for testing if the surface is sealed with anything other than lacquer.
We reserve the right to reject any item presented for engraving upon inspection.
We will not engrave heirlooms, one-of-a-kind items, items of sentimental value, or otherwise considered high value by the customer, unless prior coordination and approval is obtained from LEO Armory, LLC.
On-line acknowledgement during the order process indicates the customer has read and agrees to the above terms and conditions.
